A. Scriabin, Etude in C sharp minor, op. 42, no. 5

Alexander Scriabin was a Russian Composer who lived from 1871-1915. His music changed drastically throughout his lifetime, from tonal compositions to pieces that were far more dissonant. This week, we will listen to an etude from the middle period of his life. Next week, we will hear another composition by Scriabin in the earlier stages of his life.
